Warranties & Support Agreements

Here at Commtel, we strive to create lifetime relationships with our customers, and part of that is ensuring that we provide our customers with support when they need it.

Our technical team are on hand to support our installers and their customers through the initial commissioning process if they need us, and throughout the lifetime of the Telguard unit, either over the phone or via our online chat service!

All Telguard units come complete with a two-year return to manufacturer warranty which includes internal parts and Commtel labour in the event of product failure due to a manufacturing fault. During this period, we also cover any programming support, like changing the telephone numbers and entry codes when requested via our programming request form here.

If you would like to extend the initial two-year warranty period, we offer a variety of levels to suit you and your customers’ needs, from product only warranties, to full programming support and even an option to include the cost of the SIM!

Product Only Warranty

Our product only warranty covers internal parts and Commtel labour in the event of product failure due to a manufacturing fault. This will need to be taken out consecutively from the end of the initial 2 year warranty and is only available to trade customers. Please note that this is a return to manufacturer warranty.

You can pair this with one of our Support Agreements below to give you full cover and peace of mind.

Support Agreements

Our Support Agreements cover any programming support, like changing the telephone numbers and entry codes when requested via our programming request form here.

The number of changes per annum will be dependent on the level of cover purchased:

Support Level 1: 12 programming changes per year.
Support Level 2: 24 programming changes per year.
Support Level 3: 48 programming changes per year.
Support Premium: 120 programming changes per year.
Support Plus: £13 monthly SIM, plus any of the above support levels.
