The connecting cable is CAT 5 and the maximum distance from the intercom to the keypad is 100 metres.

The keypad can be backlit in 7 different colours to suit the majority of preferences, these are; red, white, blue, cyan, green, yellow and purple.
A stainless steel plate is fixed to a vertical surface and the keypad fixes to the top of the plate via a locater tab and then is secured at the bottom of the plate by a security screw through the lower return.
Alternatively the stainless steel version either uses a surface or flush back box.

The TelPad is either programmed at the keypad or remotely by dialling in to the associated TelGuard panel. The Approved Installer is able to remotely download an activity report showing a list of codes with the time and date actioned.
A user simply makes sure that the red status light is on and then enters their 4
– 8 digit code. As each digit is pressed a confirmation LED will illuminate. If a
mistake is made the code is re-
